Costa Mesa Breaks Ground On New Fire & Rescue Regional Training Center

COSTA MESA, CA – On Friday, Sept. 6, the Costa Mesa Fire & Rescue Department, along with City and State leaders, officially broke ground on a new training tower facility at Fire Station No. 4, marking a multi-year effort to remake the aging structure into a state-of-the-art Regional Training Center.

Assemblywoman Petrie-Norris, OC United Way deliver 2,000 school supply kits to Tustin elementary school students

Tustin, CA – Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris, Orange County United Way and local partners delivered 2,000 school supply kits to the Tustin Unified School District as part of the 2nd annual Tustin School Supply Drive. The school supply kits will be distributed by teachers and Family Resource Centers to elementary students at all eight Title I elementary schools at the beginning of the school year.

California awards $29 million Homekey grant for supportive housing project in Costa Mesa

Costa Mesa, CA Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris and Supervisor Katrina Foley proudly announce that the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) has awarded a $29 million Homekey grant to convert the Travelodge by Wyndham Orange County Airport/Costa Mesa located at 1400 Bristol St. into affordable housing units for our most vulnerable residents.
