IRVINE — Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris honored Manassero Farms on the occasion of their 100-year anniversary of family farming in Orange County. Dan Manassero, owner of Manassero Farms, is part of a third generation farming family. His grandfather, James, started farming in Yorba Linda, CA in 1922. He grew up learning about farming from his grandfather, father and uncle, and now has become one of Orange County’s best certified organic and conventional farmers.

“Visiting Manassero Farms was a memorable experience, said Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris (D-Irvine). “It is such an incredible feeling picking your own herbs and buying local produce that you can trust. I am so proud of Dan and Anne Manassero for maintaining their century-old family business. Their dedication and hard work is truly remarkable.”

"It was an honor to meet with Assemblywoman Petrie-Norris in recognition of Manassero Farms 100-year farming legacy here in Orange County. We were grateful for the opportunity to speak with her about water and other issues facing California farmers,” said Dan and Anne Manassero. “Her recognition and commitment to helping seek remedies for those of us who provide food for our communities was heartening. We appreciate her taking the time to recognize our family business and her commitment to California farmers."
