SACRAMENTO – Smart Parke has been selected as part of the Small Business Spotlight for August in Assembly District 74. This Laguna Woods-based small business was founded in 2020 and provides dog/cat daycare and boarding services. From the safe suite structure to the spacious, clean interior and tons of outdoor space, Smart Parke was designed with a pet’s enjoyment in mind!
“In honor of National Dog Day this past week, I am honored to recognize Smart Parke as part of our Small Business Spotlight,” said Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris (D-Laguna Beach). “As lifelong pet owners, the co-founders wanted to create an all-inclusive, fun and safe place for pets to stay while their owners were away. Despite the challenges of opening during the pandemic, they have continued taking excellent care of Orange County canine and feline companions.”
On August 28th, Assemblywoman Petrie-Norris was joined by Laguna Woods Mayor Shari Horne and Councilmember Cynthia Conners to present a resolution in recognition of Smart Park, along with its store manager, Sahar Shishavi, representing its co-founders, CEO Greg Chapman, COO Josh Drake, and VP Operations Jennifer Hammervold.
