Dan Manassero, owner of Manassero Farms, is part of a third generation farming family. His grandfather, James, started farming in Yorba Linda, CA in 1922.

Ally Garvin, owner of Neat Coffee, developed a passion for coffee after staying in Uganda with her husband. Upon her return, Ally worked as a barista for a number of years before venturing out and opening her own business.
SACRAMENTO – California small businesses are thanking Governor Newsom for signing AB 2019 (Petrie-Norris, D-Irvine) and wrapping up decades of advocacy that spanned 3 administrations. AB 2019 will require departments and agencies to have 25% of its contract dollars go to small businesses and keep them accountable for doing so. This bill also requires these departments and agencies to develop a plan to ensure that women, minority, and LGBTQ+ owned businesses are a part of the procurement process.
SACRAMENTO – Recent actions surrounding Roe v. Wade and the Supreme Court have put more than 36 million Americans at risk of losing access to abortion care. In addition to the larger trend towards states removing abortion protections, California could see an increase in out-of-state patients from “46,000 to 1.4 million - a nearly 3,000 percent increase,” as reported in the Future of Abortion Council (FAB) December report.
