Tustin, CA – Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris, Orange County United Way and local partners delivered 2,000 school supply kits to the Tustin Unified School District as part of the 2nd annual Tustin School Supply Drive. The school supply kits will be distributed by teachers and Family Resource Centers to elementary students at all eight Title I elementary schools at the beginning of the school year.

Kevin McCarty (D-Sacramento) and the Assembly Public Safety Committee, to save lives by passing AB 2210 – requiring all DUI offenders to use interlock ignition devices (i.e. breathalyzers or IID’s).

In 2021, an estimated 8,700 children were married in California.  If not for loopholes in California marriage law, the incidents would be classified as sex crimes.
