California's 4.1 million small businesses are critical to the state's economy. In fact, small businesses comprise 99.8% of all businesses in California and have especially felt the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The month of June serves as a time for us to reflect on all of the essential work that nonprofit organizations in California have done throughout the year. Over the past year, the services that nonprofit organizations provide has become more essential than ever.

I am proud to partner with the California Highway Patrol and Criminal Justice Training Center at Golden West College to provide you with the best information to keep you and your family safe in dangerous situations.
