River Channel Cleanup
This Saturday, I hope you can join me and our partner, Orange County Coastkeeper, for a channel cleanup day at the Santa Ana River Delhi Channel! Together we can work to prevent hundreds of pounds of plastic and trash from ending up in our beautiful coastal waters. The cleanup runs from 10a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 26th at the channel entrance on Santa Ana Ave and Bristol St.

The Santa Ana-Delhi River channel is one of many drainage channels that lead from the Santa Ana River to the ocean. The Delhi channel drains into the Newport Back Bay, which is why it is vital to remove any trash or harmful materials before they end up in our waterways.
Let's all take time to do our part in doing the most to protect our coast! Invite your friends and family to come help us make sure that we're able to enjoy our beautiful coastline for generations to come. Parking is free along Santa Ana Ave and there is limited parking available in the Travelodge parking lot on Bristol. RSVP online for more information.
