Nominate a Small Business of the Year!

__SALUTATION__

California’s 4.2 million small businesses are critical to the state’s economy. In fact, California small businesses account for 99.8 percent of all business in the state and employ 7.4 million people. Small businesses employing less than 50 workers account for 96 percent of all Orange County businesses and employ approximately 44 percent of the county’s workforce.

This year, the California Legislature will celebrate small businesses during the month of May. I am excited to honor a small business that has made a lasting local impact. As we take the time to reflect on the importance of small businesses, I invite you to submit a nomination for Small Business of the Year in the 73rd Assembly District.

Nominate A Small Business

It is essential to support our small businesses. In recent years, I have secured $85 million in small business grants to support 7,154 entrepreneurs in my district. I also passed legislation to improve opportunities for small businesses to contract with the state of California. I remain focused on creating jobs, reducing red tape, and ensuring small businesses have access to capital and resources to succeed.

Please nominate an outstanding small business located in Costa Mesa, Irvine or Tustin by filling out a brief nomination form. We will accept nominations through Wednesday, April 26.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or are in need of assistance with state-related issues.
