Appointments Workshop and Support for Small Businesses

Dear Neighbor:

Each and every one of us has unique abilities and perspectives that can make meaningful improvements to the lives of Californians.  A great way to effect these changes is to get involved with our state boards and commissions. Now more than ever we need experienced people serving in appointed positions. Appointments can span a wide range of issues, from the Boating and Services Commission to the Library Services Board, with appointees playing a key role in helping shape the future of our great state.

I’ve invited Office of the Governor Appointments Secretary Catherine Rivera-Hernandez to join me on a Facebook Live Conversation next Tuesday, I hope you’ll join us at 11am or watch the replay any time afterward.
