COSTA MESA, CA — For the second year, Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris partnered with Share Our Selves for a three-day Thanksgiving food distribution for families in need in Orange County. Registration for the turkey giveaway filled up immediately, but all families will receive a food bag with items to help prepare their Thanksgiving dinner.
IRVINE, CA – Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris secured $2 million in state budget funding for the City of Irvine to develop a Real Time Crime Center (RTCC). This will further enable officers, crime analysts, and dispatchers to gather and communicate critical information and effectively capitalize on the expanding range of technologies that increase the apprehension of offenders, prevent crime, promote sustainability, and improve officer safety.
Irvine, CA – In honor of Veterans Day, Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris hosted the fifth annual Veterans of the Year ceremony at Irvine Valley College, recognizing three veterans for their outstanding military service and contributions to fellow veterans and the community.
Orange, CA. Orange, CA. October 17, 2023 – The new center was made possible with funding from county, state and federal leaders. The OC Board of Supervisors approved $40 million toward the project, and an additional $15 million was provided by CalOptima Health. A $37.6 million grant came from the state’s Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program, $12 million in state funding was secured by Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris and $2 million in federal funding was secured by Congressman Lou Correa.
