California already has some of the strongest laws in the nation protecting abortion rights, but the California Legislative Women’s Caucus unveiled a package that builds on ensuring access to reproductive health care. Included in the package are two bills from Assemblymember Cottie Petrie-Norris, D-Irvine.

Sen. Tom Umberg, D-Santa Ana, is championing a Senate resolution proclaiming solidarity with the people of Iran and condemning the violence against them. Sens.
