The City of Irvine invites the community to the inaugural Fourth of July Celebration at the Great Park — a free, family-friendly event Friday, July 4, from 4 to 10 p.m.
Enjoy an evening filled with live entertainment, games, hands-on activities, food, and spectacular drone and fireworks shows. The celebration kicks off at 4 p.m. with live music in Hangar 244, followed by a community parade at 5 p.m. along the Great Park Historical Timeline. Families are encouraged to decorate their bikes, scooters, wagons, and strollers in patriotic style and join the fun.
Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy:
- Lawn games and family-friendly competitions
- Carousel and Balloon rides
- A Bubble Zone, craft tents, cake walk, face painting, and inflatables at The Layover
- Live music, silent DJ, and dancing inside Hangar 244
- And, much more!
The evening will end with a drone show at 8:45 p.m. and a fireworks finale at 9:45 p.m. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from food trucks, local vendors, and The Layover. Admission and parking are free. Guests are encouraged to bike, walk, carpool, or ride-share.
