Costa Mesa Household Waste Event

Do you have bulky household items you need to throw away? Bring your household waste to the Costa Mesa Senior Center on Saturday, April 20, from 8-11 a.m. (or until intake capacity is reached).

Caltrans staff will be on-site to collect household items that are too bulky for residential garbage bins, such as mattresses, furniture, and toys.

You can dispose all those items at no charge. All Orange County residents are welcome.

The following items will NOT be accepted at this event:

• Hazardous materials (batteries, paints, oils, chemicals, pesticides, smoke detectors, fluorescent lights, etc.)
• Concrete, dirt, rocks, brick, asphalt, or sand
• Treated wood
• Tires
