Volunteer at Harvest Solutions Farm in Irvine!

Please join me, Councilmember William Go, Councilmember Melinda Liu, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County for a volunteer event on Love Irvine Day at Harvest Solutions Farm in Irvine! Together, we will help harvest seasonal produce so that our neighbors have consistent access to nutritious food creating a foundation for community health and well-being.

Since the launch in August 2021, Harvest Solutions Farm has produced over 8 million pounds of fresh, nutritious produce that has been distributed to those experiencing food and nutrition insecurity in our community. Each week, the farm harvests approximately 39,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables. Since April 2023, volunteers at our Harvest Solutions Farm events have helped harvest more than 76,000 pounds of produce.

Love Irvine Day is a citywide effort where volunteers come together to serve the community—supporting youth, Veterans, and vulnerable neighbors. Learn more about Love Irvine Day and explore additional volunteer opportunities.

(Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, while supplies last)

* Registration is required. Children age 7 and up are welcome to volunteer under the supervision of an adult 21 years or older. All volunteers age 17 or younger must have a parent/guardian complete the form, even if the parent/guardian is not the adult chaperone at the event.
