RAD Camp Closing

Dear Neighbor,

Join my office and Rising Above Disabilities (RAD) Camp in marking the conclusion of an incredible week of summer camp by volunteering at their Closing Ceremony!

RAD Camp is California's largest residential summer camp for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Founded by Katie Webb Brundige and Meghan Clem, the program fosters an inclusive and uplifting environment that creates lasting memories for campers, caregivers, and volunteers alike. I was proud to recognize Katie and Meghan as my 2025 Women of the Year—a distinction that reflects their outstanding impact and leadership.

Volunteers projects:

  • Running fun activity stations
  • Passing out prizes and snacks
  • Helping with general setup
  • Assisting campers with packing up
  • Bringing positive energy as we send off our amazing campers, caregivers, and counselors!
