On Friday, October 25 at 3 p.m., I am awarding Huntington Beach-based Vegware with an official Resolution from the California Assembly honoring them as our district's Small Business of the Year.
Vegware is the global specialist in plant-based compostable foodservice packaging. They use catering disposables that are made from plants using renewable, lower carbon, recycled or reclaimed materials - and can all be commercially composted with food waste where accepted.
