Dear Neighbor,

We owe a profound debt of gratitude to the brave men and women who have answered the call to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting our nation deserve our deepest respect. Many continue their service beyond the uniform—giving back to our communities, mentoring fellow veterans, and strengthening the lives of those around them.

Help us honor these American heroes by submitting your nomination for Veteran of the Year! Nominations are open through October 24, 2025.

Eligible nominees must:

  • Reside or work in Costa Mesa, Irvine, and Tustin
  • Served on active duty in the U.S. military
  • Discharged under honorable conditions.
