Gas Energy Assistance Programs

Do you need help paying your SoCalGas bill?

You may be eligible for customer assistance programs, including a one-time bill grant program offering up to $100 toward your bill. These funds are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and eligible customers are able to apply until the funds are depleted.

To qualify for a one-time bill grant, you must meet the following requirements:

• The natural gas bill must be in the name of the applicant requesting assistance.
• The bill address must be the applicant’s primary residence.
• The applicant must not apply for more than the maximum grant allowance for the current program year.
• The applicant must meet the income guidelines.

You may also qualify for the California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) Program, which could help you save 20% on your monthly gas bill.
