In response to the recent Omicron surge across the country, the Federal Government has gone live with an official website to offer every household free at-home COVID-19 tests. Testing plays a vital role in preventing the further spread of COVID-19 and you can now order up to four free COVID-19 Tests without having to leave your home. Here is some additional information about the tests that you will receive in the mail.

The At-Home Test Kits:

  • Work whether or not you have COVID-⁠19 symptoms
  • Are rapid antigen at-home tests, not PCR
  • Can be taken anywhere
  • Provide results within 30 minutes (no lab drop-off required)
  • Orders will ship in 7-12 days
  • Limit of one order per residential address

Please visit https://www.covidtests.gov and follow the instructions on the website. Orders will start shipping out in late January.
