Drop off expired, unused prescription drugs

Dear Neighbor,

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day encourages the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting.

On April 27, the Irvine Police Department is participating in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day by providing a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs. You are encouraged to drop off – anonymously and free of charge – your expired, unused or unneeded prescription drugs to the Hoag Health Center or Irvine Police Department. Sharps and liquids cannot be accepted.
