Costa Mesa Household Waste Event

__SALUTATION__

Do you have bulky household items you need to throw away? Bring your household waste to the Costa Mesa Senior Center on Saturday, December 2 from 8-11 a.m. Please be sure to come early as our last event quickly reached capacity.

Caltrans staff will be on-site to collect items that are too bulky for residential garbage bins, such as mattresses, furniture, toys and e-waste.

You can dispose all those items at no charge. All Orange County residents are welcome.

The following items will NOT be accepted at this event:

  • Hazardous materials (batteries, paints, oils, chemicals, pesticides, smoke detectors, fluorescent lights, etc.)
  • Concrete, dirt, rocks, brick, asphalt, or sand
  • Treated wood
  • Tires
