Welcome to "Catching Up With Cottie" - a weekly update about what I am working on as your representative in the California State Assembly.

AD73 Assemblymember Cottie Petrie-Norris Veterans Day celebration

I hope everyone had a meaningful Veterans Day filled with gratitude and reflection. It was wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate the brave men and women who have served our country. These gatherings are a powerful reminder of the courage, dedication, and sacrifices our veterans have made in defense of our freedom. Today and every day, let us honor and thank all who have served–our nation is stronger because of their unwavering commitment and service.

AD73 Assemblymember Cottie Petrie-Norris Veterans Day celebration

Earlier this month, I hosted my annual Veterans of the Year ceremony and had the honor of recognizing three incredible veterans for their outstanding military service and contributions to fellow veterans and the community. Watch the highlights of the ceremony here.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve, and I am committed to addressing the issues that are important to you. As always, if there is anything that my team or I can do to assist you with a local or state issue, if you have questions or concerns about what I am working on, or anything in between, please contact my office. My team and I are here to help!

Yours faithfully,
